Market Medical Director

Justin Statt

Dr. Justin Statt is the market medical director for Banner Rehabilitation Hospitals and the medical director for Banner Rehabilitation Hospital Phoenix. In this role since the hospital’s opening in 2020, Dr. Statt oversees the clinical operations, manages medical staff, develops care protocols, ensures compliance with healthcare regulations and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes.

Previously, Dr. Statt was the medical director at the Banner Rehabilitation Institute at Banner University Medical Center Phoenix from 2018 to 2020. He also served as the medical director for the inpatient rehabilitation unit and skilled nursing facility at Banner Boswell Medical Center.

Dr. Statt earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Arizona and his doctoral degree from Midwestern University. He completed his residency program in physical medicine and rehabilitation at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. He completed his internship training at Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center, now known as Banner University Medical Center Phoenix.
